Direct Response Copywriter
Dear copywriter,
Let me get something out of the way.
You’re in the wrong place if you’re looking for a trick… a hack… or a “fast strategy” to transform into a five-figure copywriter starting from zero.
I don’t have it.
Nobody does.
The people who say otherwise are just taking you for a fool, telling you what you want to hear.
But if you’re willing to put in the effort (more in the beginning, less later)… build a few essential habits… and exit your comfort zone – then you’ll accomplish more as a copywriter than you thought possible.
- You’ll stop chasing clients. Clients will come to you.
- You’ll stop having writer’s block. You’ll write with ease, and words will flow on paper.
- You’ll stop having imposter syndrome. You’ll never ask yourself if you’re good enough. You’ll know you are because you’ll deliver 10X the value you’re paid.
I’ll reveal it all in this sales letter.
But first…
… let me share with you my origin story.
I’m 33 years old. Eight years ago, I left Romania, a country in Eastern Europe, to backpack worldwide.
I decided to become a digital nomad LONG BEFORE this was fashionable.
So I bought a big backpack, filled it to the brim, and bought a train ticket to Budapest. I partied on the train and got drunk. In Budapest, I made a lot of new friends.
Within 72 hours of starting my trip, I KNEW that I made the right decision.
From there, many other countries followed.
- Italy.
- Spain.
- England.
- Malaysia.
- Taiwan.
- Singapore.
- Korea.
- The Philippines.
- Hong Kong.
- Thailand.
- Vietnam.
And others.
How did I pay for everything? I worked as a copywriter and content writer.
I was living the lifestyle.
It’s a good life.
Doesn’t moving to Thailand, drinking cocktails on the beach and working on your MacBook sound like a good idea?
(It is! Except for working on your MacBook around sand. It will kill your keyboard and cost you hundreds of dollars to fix…)
I’ve done it.
OK, let’s fast forward.
The year was 2018.
I was in Vietnam. One of my clients, Imran Md Ali, hired me to write some articles for him.
He was impressed.
He was so impressed that he asked me to meet him, as we were both in Vietnam simultaneously.
When he told me that, it was late evening. It took me 15 seconds to decide and say yes.
At 02:00 AM, I was on a flight from Hanoi to Saigon.
Two days later, I was flying back with him to Singapore.
This started a five-year-long journey to becoming an elite biz op copywriter.
He taught me what works.
He also gave me some kick-ass opportunities, like speaking on stage in front of his audience. You can find an excerpt of the video below.
I’m learning all the tricks of the trade. And I grew immensely as a copywriter, thanks to him.
So, how did I become a copywriting coach?
Over the years, I have coached people in one way or another. I never had a sales letter or a formal offer, but I helped people in whatever I could. I helped people from the US, Korea, India, and Singapore.
Recently, more and more people approached me, wanting to pay me to teach them effective copywriting. So, I decided to create a formal offer and make this available to the world—as I immensely enjoy teaching and coaching, maybe just as much as I enjoy writing copy.
I’m helping copywriters grow in an industry dominated by B.S. and lies.
Most copywriters pay $4000 – $5000 – $6000 for a course and are just as confused about what to do next as before the course.
So what’s possible?
What’s the life of a copywriter?
Well…
Contrary to popular belief – it can be either VERY GOOD…
… or TERRIBLE.
I have fond memories as a copywriter…
- Writing email campaigns while eating ice cream at Changi Airport in Singapore.
- Ghostwriting a book while enjoying the simple life in Puerto Princesa, Philippines.
- Brainstorming self-development and spirituality articles on a rooftop bar in Hanoi, Vietnam.
And even right now… I’m writing this from a coffee shop, having a cup of green tea, and life is good. Later, I’ll go home to my fully equipped home office, which is a joy to work from.
Copywriting allows you to travel.
Copywriting allows you to earn a living by being creative.
Copywriting allows you to be your boss.
It’s great. It is.
But…
I’ve also had moments in which I wondered how I would pay the bills. Nobody wanted to work with me, and long-term clients dropped me without reason.
Scenarios in which people ghosted me instead of paying me. Moments of doubt in which I just wanted to give it all up. There were a lot of nights in which I needed all my strength to continue. I was sending cold emails and getting no reply.
There’s a lot of anxiety and stress in being a freelancer.
And don’t even get me started on the imposter syndrome. Ask yourself, “Who am I to get paid so much for my writing?”
It makes you want to quit and get a 9-5.
Let me be honest with you.
Copywriting can be an extraordinary journey. Or it can be a nightmare. The difference between these two lies in knowing what works and what doesn’t.
Being A Copywriter In 2024
The best time to invest in crypto was ten years ago.
The best time to invest in real estate was 20 years ago.
And the best time to become a copywriter… well, it’s certainly not now.
I’m a rarity because I was once a copywriter in a marketplace without many.
It was easy to get a job back then. Job boards were not the vast jokes they are now. Back then, posting a simple article on Facebook on copywriting would easily garner 50 – 60 likes.
Things are slightly different now.
Why?
ONE – There are too many damn copywriters.
Everyone and I mean everyone found it a good idea to become a copywriter.
Why?
No 9-5, and most people consider themselves good writers.
Well…
- Some are good.
- Some suck (most suck).
- Some are a waste of time.
The truth is that the copywriting field is WAY overcrowded.
And then you have ChatGPT, which if you know how to use…
It will output a decent copy.
So what’s the result?
A market where every time someone posts a project, there are 50 – 100 – 200 copywriters willing to work for pennies or even free.
The desperation is palpable.
The copywriting industry as a whole feels like a group of men who haven’t seen a woman in years and are willing to do or say anything to seduce her.
Again, the desperation is absolute.
Business owners eventually learn the lesson of “buy it nice or buy it twice…”
But until they do, until the awful skills of budget copywriters burn them – they think this is how things are. They’re getting a great deal.
TWO – Most business owners are writing their copy now.
Copywriters are not the magicians of the business world anymore.
I know that if you read copywriting books, you’ve heard again and again how special you are. Like you’re the keeper of some arcane knowledge that makes product sales and business owners rich.
Well…
That’s not true anymore.
Copywriting education is easy to find now. FREE education. And then you have the 10,000-pound Gorilla in the room – ChatGPT.
Will ChatGPT copy sell?
Mostly no.
Not when it sounds generic as hell.
But ChaTGPT is free, and you can’t beat free. And most business owners don’t know the difference between good and bad copy.
You can’t educate someone on why ChatGPT is a bad idea unless they’re open to learning. If someone has their mind closed, you don’t have enough money or time to teach them the opposite.
THREE – People don’t buy from copy as much as they used to.
The copy still works… but not as well.
It would be best if you were better at selling. The standard is higher—it’s a lot higher.
Ten years ago, you could have made much money with a simple offer and some primary copy. Those years are gone. Now, you need to dial in your marketplace and have a killer offer.
The amateur night in online marketing is gone…
… now it’s a game for pros.
And if you want to succeed as a copywriter, you’d better become that pro.
I know it doesn’t sound very safe…
… but it’s easier than you think. It’s more about forgetting old habits than building new ones. It’s all about focusing on proof, triggers, and entering a conversation already in their mind instead of fancy writing and building hype.
It’s like a girl who has had too many bad relationships…
… she’s skeptical, but she still wants to be loved.
Your marketplace doesn’t believe you and your claims with ease – but it still wants to buy.
So How Do You Become An ELITE Copywriter?
There are a few things that separate the amateurs from the pros.
Most people reading this… won’t like this.
Most people reading this will NEVER become top copywriters.
This is because it takes effort, persistence, and humbleness…
… something that’s beyond what most are willing to invest.
But for that, 1 in 100…
ONE – You need to get good at selling.
I don’t think your job is to be creative.
I see this often… and it’s driving me crazy. You’re not a creative copywriter, you’re not on Madison Avenue, and you’re not judged by your ability to write clever taglines.
You’re a salesman.
A salesman in print.
You’re judged only on your ability to sell.
Therefore, you need to understand human psychology.
Triggers.
Persuasion.
Easy? No.
Worth it? Yes.
If your copy sells, you’ll get repeat projects. You’ll even get on a retainer. You’ll get referrals. If your copy fails, nothing else you do matters because your copywriting is an expense, not an investment.
That’s how copywriting careers die.
TWO – Make customers come to you.
You can try cold mailing.
You can try freelancing job boards.
You can annoy people, hoping they’ll hire you.
But these are tools in the toolkit of broke copywriters. It’s what 95% of all copywriters do, and it rarely works; the ROI sucks.
Don’t do what broke people do.
Do the OPPOSITE.
And the opposite is to position yourself as an expert.
To network and build relationships.
To provide value without expecting something in return.
THREE – Build your persona.
There’s no bigger sin than to be boring and vanilla…
To be known for nothing, to not stand out in the crowd.
It would be best if you had a brand.
It would be best if you had positioning.
It would be best if you had a strong USP.
It may be the way you look. It may be the way you express yourself. Or the type of copy you’re writing. It may be the niche you’re serving.
Don’t be gray. Be red. Pink. Blue. Yellow. Stand out. Be courageous.
Now, the next big question is…
… What will your future look like?
“Bright Or Bleak?”
Imagine this.
You’re working with kick-ass clients. They’re paying what you’re worth without any negotiation on your side. They even give you bonuses.
And you deserve all this because you’re making them ten times the money they’re paying.
You work from home… from coffee shops… from the library. Instead of commuting daily, you’re saving so much time.
And if you’re the type you can take things further. You can write copy from Cuba… France… Japan… Korea. Nobody is stopping you.
Or you can build a kick-ass home office, buy two monitors, pay cash for the latest laptop, and invest $1500 in a great, comfortable chair. You deserve it.
OR
You’re working with awful clients who pay you little and try to control everything. They’re cheap bastards.
However, you don’t know how to write good copy for them, so it’s a lose-lose proposition. They pay you wrong; you write lousy copy for them.
You are stuck writing copy for 1-2 hours a day after your day job because you could never earn enough money from copywriting to earn a living.
You send hundreds of cold emails – and nobody answers. You apply to every project on job boards, but nobody answers. You are desperate from work, and this seems to push people away.
Which one sounds better?
Which one do you want?
If the answer is – “OF COURSE, the FIRST ONE, DUMMY”…
… then I’d like to introduce you to a program that will change your life.
“Introducing Copy Xtreme With Razvan” Program”
I’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse.
As far as I know, no coach in the industry makes such an offer.
It’s one of the best deals you’ll ever get.
I’ll work with you for 50 minutes daily, five days a week. I’ll teach you. I’ll train you. I’ll review your copy. I’ll kick your ass until you’re a fantastic copywriter who gets clients and writes copy confidently.
I’ll be your drill sergeant and transform you from a private into an elite, special forces soldier of the copywriting world.
(If you’re willing to put in the effort, of course…)
The program is six months long. That’s 120 hours of one-on-one coaching plus the time you spend doing your homework and practicing copy alone.
It’s a lot.
I know.
I’ll tell you in a second who this is for and who it is not. But before I do this, why don’t I explain what you’ll find in this program?
There are thirteen steps to it:
- Research.
- Offer development.
- Benefits.
- Proof.
- Logical arguments.
- Hooks and angles.
- Storytelling.
- Headlines.
- Lead copy.
- Body copy.
- Guarantee.
- Closing.
- Editing.
During this program, we’ll also cover:
- Market sophistication.
- Facebook ads.
- Content marketing.
- Authority marketing.
- Email marketing.
- Video marketing.
- Video sales letters.
- Webinars.
- And much more…
Is This For Everyone?
No.
Hell no.
Most people are unwilling to commit five hours a week to coaching.
They want a simple and easy solution. Everyone wants to travel, see the world, and quit their job, but nobody wants to put in the effort.
A lot of people I know were turned off by this proposition. They want to work with me but work far less. And I get it. We all want instant gratification.
But this is not what I’m offering here.
It takes time. It takes effort. It takes sweat… to become a great copywriter.
It will take me at least 20 hours a month… PER CLIENT, not to mention copy critiques, emails to answer, and any advice I might give outside the coaching sessions.
So I want to do this only with the super-committed.
So how much is everything then?
Let’s put things in perspective. I charge $297 for one hour of consulting/coaching. If I were to charge retail, that would be $8910 monthly.
That’s a lot of money.
But you’re not paying that.
The cost is $2000/month, paid month by month. Or if you decide to pay in advance, it’s $1750/month for three months ($5250 lump payment) or $1500/month for six months ($9000 lump payment.)
REMEMBER…
This is not a PDF.
This is not a Facebook group.
This is not a course.
This is me, working with you, 1:1 on WhatsApp/Messenger/Slack, to help you become the best copywriter you can be.
So, What Are The Benefits Of Working With Me?
ONE – You’ll learn how to write kick-ass copy.
Look, at the end of the day, nothing else matters if the product you’re selling… in this case, your ability to sell through copy – sucks. If you can’t sell, you can’t be a copywriter.
Your character, your work ethic, your creativity…
… they all matter – but nobody will invest in you repeatedly if you can’t produce an ROI. I learned that the hard way.
So I’ll teach you how to do this. How to write fascinating things. How to leverage the laws of human nature. Psychological triggers. At the end of this, you’ll be a salesman in print.
You’ll feel confident doing it. You’ll have a lot of fun. You’ll be proud of your hard work and the value you deliver to your clients. And, of course, you won’t have imposter syndrome.
TWO – You’ll learn how to get clients.
I’m not a sales coach. So don’t expect me to transform you into a closer.
However, a decade of copywriting experience taught me what works and what doesn’t.
I tried everything: freelancer boards, Fiverr, cold mailing, giving copywriting critiques, networking, content marketing, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
Some work. Some don’t.
We’ll see what will work best for you and what fits your personality type and double down on that.
One thing, though: I’m a highly procedural person. I’m not a natural-born salesman. So I’ll teach you the “farming” approach to getting customers, not the “hunting” one.
THREE – You’ll get feedback on your copy.
Whether spec work or client work, submit a Google Doc, and I’ll give you detailed feedback.
This is valuable for a good reason. You’ll know what works and what doesn’t.
Let me explain.
It’s common to build bad habits when writing copy. To build subconscious patterns that you repeat and which will sabotage your writing process.
You can tweak and learn much faster when someone provides you with feedback.
Of course, the ULTIMATE feedback is live traffic and letting the market tell you what works and what doesn’t. So my feedback is “good,” that is “great.” However, live traffic is damn expensive, and you’d better put your best copy out there first before paying $20 for a single lead.
FOUR – You’ll learn the science and art of finding angles.
After some point, all copy are technically competent. This means copywriters write great benefits, fantastic offers, and irrefutable proof.
What makes the difference, then, is the angle they use.
It’s like being in a world where everyone is good-looking, and what will make the difference is their personality.
Finding a good angle isn’t something you can outsource or take lightly. ChatGPT will help you brainstorm but won’t help you find a winning idea.
Fortunately, I’m here to help. I’ll help you develop the right angles and create winning sales letters. Your customers will thank you.
FIVE – You’ll promote yourself through your copy.
One aspect of my coaching program is having my students write their copy, promoting themselves.
After all, how can you sell other people’s offers if you don’t have an offer of your own and sell yourself?
Clients will look at your copy. Maybe they won’t buy from your copy but judge your writing ability based on how you sell yourself. So let’s do a damn good job there.
SIX – You’ll learn complementary skills.
Let’s run campaigns on Facebook.
Let’s create a website for yourself through WordPress or Wix.
Let’s build a lead magnet in Canva.
I want to help you become a complete stack marketer or, at least, give you the option to learn more if that’s what you want. I want to give you all the skills you require to succeed in the competitive world of online marketing.
SEVEN – You’ll become a productivity machine.
If you’re struggling with procrastination… and constantly leaving your tasks for later – don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
I’ll hold you accountable, give you tasks, ask if you complete them, and help you prioritize.
I’m your coach. I’ll help you stay on track.
Do I Offer Any Money Back Guarantee?
Unfortunately no. If you’re afraid that this is not for you, if you’re not sure, I suggest you pay month-to-month. It will cost a bit more, but you can stop anytime, and we’ll part as friends.
I’m not giving a guarantee simply because I’m investing my time in this. It’s not scalable. While I talk to you, I could be creating products, studying online marketing, building my team, and doing much more.
I have students going for almost a year in coaching and are excited to keep going. I hope you’ll be one of them too.
Here Are Your Options…
Look, as far as I see it, you have three ample options.
ONE – You can figure everything out by yourself.
This means you can go through trial and error until you discover the secret to good copy… until you understand how to attract high-quality customers… and until you position yourself as an expert.
Most people go through years of trial and error without any results whatsoever. There are a million ways to do things wrong, and just a few work. But that’s human nature; people would rather spend and waste their time and life hoping to figure things out (they won’t!) instead of spending money.
TWO – You can hire a competitor.
And that’s a better option. There are many coaches out there.
But let me ask: which offers you 1:1 coaching, 20 hours per month, for just $44/hour? That’s an excellent deal, and I know no coach offers anything similar to this.
I’m offering this because I want to get a lot of testimonials and success stories, so I’m launching this as a group coaching program. But group coaching will be at least twice as expensive, and you won’t receive even half of the personalized attention you’ll receive now.
THREE – You can work with me.
The two of us will become very familiar with each other. After all, we’ll meet daily, five days a week, four weeks a month. That’s 20 hours of coaching, one-on-one coaching, no B.S., and no group coaching per month.
This is the most substantial coaching offer I know, and if you’re serious about…
… learning how to write kick-ass copy that gets sales.
… getting customers through authority marketing.
… specializing in an industry, so you’re the go-to guy or gal for that industry.
Then I’m the person to go to.
How?
STEP 1: Click on the link below.
STEP 2: Complete the form.
STEP 3: If you qualify, we’ll contact you with the following steps.
I’m taking only ONE coaching client because that’s all I have available. I’ll prioritize people with a strong passion for copywriting and resonate with my philosophy.

You show up for our session each day. Sure, it’s hard at first, but it’s worth it.
And you grow.
You get better at writing copy. At psychology. At understanding human nature. You become more confident in your skills. You even start attracting clients through the content you post.
I review all your copy. You get almost instant feedback on what you write. It’s like AI, just 1000 times better and more humane.
A few months later, you are a thriving copywriter. You are kicking ass. You don’t feel confused. You know your purpose and have the skills to back it up.
And no imposter syndrome. You are competent. You know it.
